Keven Sheedy speaking on AFL 360 has urged Greater Western Sydney to sign Lance Franklin. Administrators at GWS were put on high alert when Franklin postponed contract negotiations until the end of the season.
Hawthorne have shown determination to keep the star forward, but it might be at the expense of some team mates.
Franklin would demand a top line salary, which suits GWS as they have room to move after the departure of Israel Falou to the NSW Waratahs.
Sheedy elaborated on the subject, “I think it would be a great opportunity if Franklin is thinking of leaving Hawthorne.
“He’s kicked over 500 goals in about 150-160 game career.”
