A local paper in Minnesota has reported that former Falcons and Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is visiting the Vikings today to pitch himself as the answer at QB for the franchise.

Vick is a solid consideration for the Vikings at QB, as the controversial former star would not be asked to do much in the offense. A big-time playmaker may be all the Vikings are missing, and without Bridgewater, they must get someone who won’t be prone to give the ball up.

I mean, who could forget Vick in his heyday?

But there’s also the overwhelming school of thought that Vick shouldn’t be the answer at quarterback. He is 36 years old and hasn’t played in a meaningful game in a few seasons. Beyond that, the team already has had its share of off-field issues with Adrian Peterson. But could you imagine throwing Vick into that mix?
