There’s only two times in the space of about three hours you don’t run across the entrance to the players’ tunnel: when the players are running onto to the field, and when they’re returning to the locker rooms.

Fox Sports ‘mic guy’ learnt this commonsense tidbit the hard way before the Minnesota Vikings’ clash with the Arizona Cardinals.

The diminutive middle-aged man, who would be outweighed by most peewee football quarterbacks, got in the path of the Vikings as they ran onto U.S. Bank Stadium…and was steamrolled by the unsuspecting Minnesota behemoths.

To his eternal credit, the moustachioed sound man dusted himself off and carried on with his duties.

The Vikings downed the Cardinals 30-24, while mic guy’s pride was left stranded on zero.
