Seahawks get into scrap at training

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and receiver Phil Bates were involved in an altercation at the team’s minicamp today.

The two came together when Sherman was covering Bates during a no-tackling scrimmage; each played landed blows to the head. The incident triggered a team scrap between the offence and defence.

The dispute began five minutes earlier when Bryan Walters was hit and injured as he made a play in the no-contact session.

The players had kissed and made up by the end of practice.
