Newton's lesson on dealing with the media

Tired of enduring an endless droll of B.S. questions from the media?

Here’s an easy peasy solution for you. Simply memorise and repeat the following phrase:

“My main focus is the Detroit Lions. I think I’ve got my hands full trying to stay protected from Donkey Kong Suh and my fellow Auburn teammate Nick Fairley.”

Watch here as Carolina’s star quarterback Cam Newton puts this plan into action during the Panthers’ most recent press conference.

Newton presumably wasn’t interested in providing any insight into the state of his ribs or his feelings on missing his first NFL game.

As Superman indicated, the past is the past and what difference does it really make when back-up QB Derek Anderson led Carolina to victory by completing 70.6% of his passes for 230 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs in Cam’s absence?

We’ll find out soon enough how his ribs are feeling when Newton gets chased out of the pocket by Donkey Kong Suh.
