We have now reached June which means we are less than two months away from the NFL Preseason. Here is a wrap-up of what happened this past week:

News from this past week:

  • NFL submits proposal to start testing for human growth hormone immediately.
  • Ravens make ‘dumb’ move in delaying Flacco negotiations, his agent tells newspaper. Joe Flacco was an average quarterback last season. He didn’t deserve a big contract, and come to think of it, he might not even be worth the money he’s making now
  • Aaron Hernandez Says Danny Amendola ‘Looks Good’ During Patriots OTAs. But will he live up to the vacancy Wes Welker left? That’s the concern
  • Mike Wallace prefers Dolphins’ culture over Steelers’
  • Browns’ Norv Turner: Cleveland offense is ‘going to attack’
  • Jason Peters absent from Eagles’ OTAs
  • Vikings sign free-agent linebacker Stanford Keglar
  • Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan arrested, booked with DWI
  • Members of Congress urge Snyder to change Redskins name

  • Report: Titus Young declined NFL’s assistance last year
  • Sanchez: I plan on starting at QB. He might start because Geno Smith will be a quarterback who needs time so maybe he’s right? If so, the Jets are in trouble once again
  • Panthers’ Steve Smith wants to play 15th or even 16th seasons
