Prior to tonight’s Monday Night Football match-up against the Rams, Colin Kaepernick had only thrown for 300 yards twice.
Better known for the ability to make plays with his legs rather than his arms, San Francisco’s quarterback showed that he can manage his team just like a traditional signal caller when called upon to do so.
The 49ers fell behind quick and the score was 14-0 in favour of St. Louis after one, but from there Kaepernick took over, leading his squad to 24 unanswered points.
All the Rams were able to muster in the final three quarters was a 38-yard Greg Zuerlein field goal.

Kaep’s final line was 343 yards on 22 of 36 passing with 3 TDs and no interceptions.
Once again San Francisco is on a win streak after a slow start. They’ve won three straight but will be underdogs next week when they travel to Mile High to take on Manning and the Broncos.
The Rams dropped to 1-4 on the year…but at least they looked cool in their throwback kit:
