While the Raiders have been solid this season, winning in Oakland hardly comes often in the new millennium.

Specifically, the Raiders had gone through six head coaches since 2000, and haven’t found much stability anywhere.

But that changed today, with the Raiders announcing that head coach Jack Del Rio will be around at least the next four years, with the Raiders locking him up for the foreseeable future.

While it wasn’t unexpected, the Raiders committing to anything right now is a good thing, with them not even knowing where they’ll be playing after next season.
