COACH ZIMMER TO MISS THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Things got a little worse the Minnesota Vikings early Thursday, with news that head coach Mike Zimmer will miss the Vikings matchup with the Cowboys.

It’s particularly bad news given the slide the Vikings have taken in recent weeks. After leading the NFL after five weeks in record, the Vikings have lost their division lead.

The Cowboys coming to town is the worst possible game without their head coach, with a potent offense and defense for the Cowboys.

The Vikings desperately need a win to keep pace, and now will start behind the eight ball after already having a bad starting point.
