The reports are rolling in that Derek Carr got PAID.

The Raiders star QB said he wanted an extension this summer, and an extension is what he’s gotten.

The Raiders and Carr are finalizing a massive $25 million per year extension to lock up the quarterback for the next four years.

The deal will make Carr the highest paid QB in NFL history, outpacing Andrew Luck’s new deal, as well as deals for Tom Brady and Cam Newton.

Carr has said he wants to make Oakland his home for life, and it seems as though the franchise wanted to make that a reality too.

With the move to Las Vegas looming, the Raiders have some stability to take with them.
