In a bit a news you’d have thought would never come, the Los Angeles Rams finally made the move to fire Jeff Fisher following another losing season.
Rams fired HC Jeff Fisher, per @mortreport. Fisher tied a record Sunday with his 165th NFL head-coaching loss.

The move comes just a week after Fisher signed a two-year extension, like only Fisher can do.

As we’ve touched on in the last few weeks on Commentary Box Sports, Fisher has been the coach who can’t die: he sits just one loss away from the NFL’s most losses in a career, and looked sure to continue his tenure in LA.
The only silver lining is that Jeff Fisher got fired a week after signing an extension. Kings forever remain Kings

But Fisher, who has posted six losing seasons in his tenure with the franchise, finally saw his luck run out after the 42-14 stomping on Sunday by the Falcons.
Here’s hoping Fisher is back in the NFL soon, because he just makes football so much more fun.
