The Wizards have been the hottest team in the NBA since around December, and they’ve finally started to catch some attention. So what better way to introduce themselves to the NBA world than a home matchup with the Cavs?

And boy did it catch attention. The Wizards kept control for the first half, before a surge by the Cavs evened things in the third.

The fourth quarter saw the Wizards go blow for blow with the defending champs, seemingly putting the game away in the final minute before Otto Porter’s missed free throw.

From there, LeBron James would hit the shot of the year, a falling away three out of bounds to tie the game with 0.3 seconds to go to force overtime.

In overtime, Cleveland would finally pull away. But this game was an instant classic, and hopefully one we see in the postseason.
