Washington Wizards linchpin John Wall penned another incredible chapter of his amazing 2017 post-season story, draining a phenomenal clutch three to send his team’s series with the Boston Celtics to a Game 7.

The Wizards trailed by two with time running out in the fourth on their home court, before Wall stepped up with the match-winner with 3.5 seconds left.

It was far from Wall’s best game of the playoffs – he finished with 26 points on 9-for-25 shooting from the floor – but he came up with the goods when it counted.

Bradley Beal starred for the Wizards with 33 points on 15-for-26 shooting, while Markieff Morris had 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Isaiah Thomas – whose shot on the buzzer hit the rim – and Avery Bradley both had 27 points for the Celtics, who will be ruing an opportunity to put the seesawing series to bed.

The rivals head back to Boston’s TD Garden for Tuesday morning’s (AEST) decider, squaring off for a berth opposite Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
