Color me, color everyone shocked: the NBA trade deadline is right around the corner, and there’s finally some big news to report.

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Kings have reengaged teams on trade talks for DeMarcus Cousins after previously stating that he was off the table.

And just like that: the rumors became fact. According to many outlets, the Pelicans have made a deal for the Kings big man.

The haul is relatively weak for Boogie, with the Pelicans surrendering Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway, Buddy Hield, and two future picks, including the Pelicans’ 2017 first.

This move will undoubtedly shake up the Western Conference, and may very well change the landscape of the New Orleans franchise. Wow.
