Well, the day finally came.

The Knicks have let go of Phil Jackson, announced by the team today.

It only took the entire draft, supposed trades involving Kristaps Porzingis, and the disgruntling of their star in Carmelo Anthony and over $60 million in the last four years.

That’s a lot of dough for a general manager and president that only netted the Knicks one playoff trip.

The move is oddly timed, with the draft already passing and free agency looming in just three days.

Either way, the Knicks have now hit the reset in the middle of a rebuild.
