Paul, Griffin lead Clippers past Spurs

The Los Angeles Clippers faced off the defending champions San Antonio Spurs in possibly the most anticipated first round match-up in the NBA. Game one was played this afternoon in front of a frenzied home crowd and the Clippers did not disappoint.

The Clippers took control early in the third quarter and never looked back from there, controlling their double digit lead almost throughout the rest of the second half Chris Paul who finished with 32 points and 6 assists, Blake Griffin had a double-double with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and some signature posterizing dunks.

Game two will be played in Staples Center on April 23, 12:30 PM AEST.
