It’s been speculated, and now it’s finally official:

Paul George has told the Pacers he’ll be leaving in free agency next offseason, kicking up the pressure on a Pacers front office that was hopeful of keeping the All-NBA star in Indiana.

In the wake of the announcement, the Pacers are now in a frenzy to get some kind of return for George or risk trying to change his mind.

There’s now a significant disadvantage on the Pacers to try and get anything of value out of George, but with a time limit, the Pacers now must figure something out.

This summer just got VERY interesting.
