There’s been a countdown clock rolling in Philly for quite some time on the situation with the logjam of center talent.

After the Sixers dangled both Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel all summer in trade rumors, Noel took to Twitter and the media to relay that he was ready for some stability in the roster.

But since, Noel has doubled down on proving his worth to the team, remaining quiet on all fronts.

But that’s seemingly changed as his minutes have dwindled and the star power of Joel Embiid has grown. Reports are now that Noel wants out, and is ready for life outside of Philadelphia.

It should be interesting to see when the Sixers pull the trigger – if they do at all. But I’d imagine there are some teams that are champing at the bit to get a player as gifted defensively as Noel.
