Put this into perspective: Miami’s winning streak has reached 27 games and the next best current winning streak is four.

 

What more can you say? What Miami has done throughout these last 27 games has been unbelievable.

 

Let’s touch on Miami and what else has happened over the past couple days:

 

What has happened in the past couple days:

 

• Royce White back with Rockets’ D-League team
• Miami Heat blow Orlando away en route to the team’s 27th straight victory. It was a close game up until the last couple minutes of the third but LeBron James stepped up to the plate dishing, scoring and rebounding his way to achieve Miami’s victory
• Sacramento says arena deal will keep NBA Kings in town
• Hornets snap Nuggets’ 15-game win streak
• James Harden named Western Conference Player of the Week. Harden has been fantastic in his debut season with the Rockets
• LeBron James named Eastern Conference player of week. All he does is achieve this award
• NBA teams are eyeing Fred Hoiberg of the Iowa State Cyclones. His style and experience is something teams are highly interested in. His Cyclones were bounced from the NCAA Tournament after falling to Ohio State in the final seconds on Sunday
• Dwyane Wade missed two consecutive games including the Heat’s game Monday against the Magic. He should be ready to go when the Heat play the Bulls
• John Wall scored 47 points in Washington’s 107-94 victory of Memphis
• Carmelo Anthony scored 37 points in New York’s 99-94 victory of Toronto

• Kevin Garnett (ankle) expected to miss two weeks. Doc Rivers wants Garnett to be fully healthy come playoff time
• Timberwolves star Kevin Love not sure he’ll be back this season

• Miami looks to take streak to 28 games when they play the Chicago Bulls. This could be the game Miami goes down because Chicago has players on its team who have the ability to rise to the occasion
• Clippers and Spurs do battle in San Antonio on Friday night
• Memphis hosts Houston as two of the more exciting teams in the NBA do battle
