TOO GOOD TUESDAY: VINCE CARTER’S DUNKING POWER

Trawl through any list of the greatest dunkers in NBA history, and invariably the same names will pop up at the pointy end: Dr J, Dominique Wilkins, Jordan, Kemp, Kobe and more recent superstars like LeBron and Blake Griffin.

But the essential name in every top three – and, realistically, the #1 slot if the compiler is being honest – is Vince Carter.

Still running around for Memphis as a 39-year-old, Carter’s career with the Raptors, Nets, Magic, Suns, Mavericks and Grizzlies has been a neverending highlights reel of the most savage jams the Association has ever witnessed.

Vince posterized defenders for breakfast, bent rims back at lunchtime and shook stadiums on a nightly basis. Check out this epic compilation and appreciate the power and mastery of the one and only ‘Vinsanity’.
