Thursday Night Football was unnaturally competitive for the first time in a while tonight, as the Bucs and Falcons traded blows early and often in the first half. Tampa Bay gave Atlanta tests early, taking an early lead behind some terrific touchdowns from Mike Evans.

Aside from his TDs, Evans also produced a candidate for Catch of the Year that resulted in him missing time during the game.

But it was the Falcons offense that proved too much for the young Bucs defense, as injuries would sideline Jameis Winston and Mike Evans on offense.

Matt Ryan and Julio Jones had another big game, and Atlanta look to be putting a stranglehold over the NFC South. If the Falcons can pick up a couple more wins, they could put the pesky Panthers and Saints out of reach.
