The Grizzlies got some bad news today as medical experts confirmed that forward Chandler Parsons would be sidelined for the season with a torn meniscus.

The injury is the whipped cream on top of a really bad first year for Parsons in Memphis.

The forward signed a massive 4-year, $94 million contract in the offseason to be the Grizzlies new scoring threat, but his numbers across the floor are down.

Parsons even summed up his struggles earlier this season saying “I suck right now.”

The injury just adds to the uncertainty surrounding Parsons going forward, as the Grizzlies rethink what may be one of the worst contracts in NBA history.
