CAVS SET NBA 3s RECORD IN HAWKS ROUT

The Cleveland Cavaliers drained an NBA record 25 three-pointers to rout the Atlanta Hawks 123-98 and take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Semi-finals.

The Cavs’ insane outside shooting garnered stats of 25-for-45 from behind the arc, JR Smith leading the way with 7 threes from 13 attemps. LeBron James hit 4-for-6 from three-point range, while Kyrie Irving went 4-for-5 and Kevin Love got 3-for-4.

Cleveland led by 36 points at halftime before taking their foot off the gas – but not before entering the history books.
