Amar’e Stoudemire called it a career last week, retiring from the NBA formally and signing to play in Israel. ‘Stat’ will forever be remembered for his time with the fun-and-gun Suns with Steve Nash, and played some great years with the New York Knicks.

Stoudemire was the 2003 Rookie of the Year, a six time All-Star, and named to the NBA First Team once, and to the Second Team four times. He finishes with career averages of 18.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game.

Stoudemire was one the most fun dunkers in the league, and a terrorizing power forward in his heyday. In honor of his retirement from basketball, let’s look back at the top ten plays from the career of ‘Stat’.
